We had disposable camera’s. At the end of the night, most of them only had a few photos on each and we still had to pay to get ALL the film developed and most of them were too dark. They were fun to use on the night, most people actually forgot how to use them after owning digital cameras. I still haven’t seen anyone’s personal photos of the reception and really want to, but don’t know how to ask them to send them to me or put them on Facebook without sounding too self involved. I think a website to upload them to would be a great idea.

I do really like our professional photos though and have 500 of them so I think that is more than enough without the extras anyway. I’ve heard photo booths are really fun, although maybe a bit pricey..?

I’m thinking about putting a polariod camera per table, since my wedding is very small. That way guests can just fill up the I-spy games quickly. When they bring/put the photos in a basket they get a prize. I think I will still put a disposable camera on some of the older guest tables.

I think it really depends on your guests. Some of my friends ended up with awesome pictures on their disposable cameras. But asking guests to upload photos is always a good idea.

weddingpartyapp.com is new and free. I know someone who used it and it worked great. The only problem was that it was for iphone only and not android compatible. But weddingpartyapp people say they’re working on an android version~
