I’ve heard great things about Pampers swaddlers plus they have the wetness indicator strip. I bought a pack of these and plan to use them for the 1st few weeks before we transition to cloth diapers

I used cloth diapers with my child (the old fashioned square ones, with the safety pins) until he was old enoug to pee on his own, then I got lazy and bought pull-ups….

@Lolasmomma:  Luvs leak. I use huggies with DS he breaks out with the target brand and for some reason the pampers always leak out the sides.

We used pampers for like the first month, then went to the generic brand thatwal-mart sells til they didn’t make them big enough, then to pampers but those started leaking and now we use only Huggies snug & dry.

It changed so much because babies change so much, first they just sit/lay there, then they start rolling/crawling and creeping, then it’s running and maybe some walking in there if your lucky lol.

I do the same – cloth during the day but disposables at night. DS is a heavy wetter and I can’t find a cloth solution for nighttime.

I’ve tried Luvs and while they work during the day, they just don’t absorb enough. We used BRU supreme dipes when DS was new, but I don’t think they absorb enough for DS overnight anymore. I have tried Huggies Little Movers, which I really like, but they are pricey. My Mother-In-Law bought Pampers and they seem to work overnight. Today I just bought Pampers Extra Protection (a night time diaper) and I’m hoping they contain everything.

We use cloth at home, but Honest diapers at daycare. Pampers gave her a burn/rash, something so we stopped with those. Huggies are good too. I like our Honest diapers the best though.
