Yes, there is a site where you can calculate your risk of getting a divorce.
According to this I have a 4% chance of getting a divorce in the next 5 years. This seems low since you always hear about the 50% divorce rate. But it says that it’s average for people similar to me.
What you’re your chance of getting a divorce? List it below…

Mine is 5%…also the average. Interesting.

Gah! You changed the poll right as I voted so mine went into the first category of less than 3%, calculator said 6%.

8%, yikes. Probably because of our level of education.

Apparently people with similar backgrounds to me – 8%?!

7%.. I’m guessing because we were 25 when we got married so a little on the younger side.

@KatNYC2011: Sorry, it kept ‘losing’ the first choice. I think it didn’t like the < sign that I originally had.

I’m at 1% with people of similar backgrounds, 10% of people down the road with similar backgrounds in 10 years.
For my husband, it’s 2% with the same 10% in the next ten years. His is slightly different because he didn’t finish college while I have a master’s degree.

Don’t get why mine is 8% over next five years. Both of us are college grads and over 30 yrs old….
Edit: Changed it to say we have kids (we don’t) and it drops to 5%…

People with similar backgrounds who are already divorced: 1%
People with similar backgrounds who will be divorced over the next 5 years: 14%
My husband and I are 8 years apart so I thought it would be fun to do his as well:
People with similar background who are already divorced: 0%
People with similar backgrounds who will be divorced over the next 5 years: 6%

I was certain our large age gap would have something to do with it but apparently not.
Weird though it asked if I had kids but not him.

mines 12%… I’m guessing it cause I’ll be only 22 when I get married.
