- Wedding: July 2012 - Baltimore Museum of Industry
Same boat here. DJ is saying something like-
“Introducing Rebwana’s proud parents…
Mom, escorted by usher
Dad and Stepmom…”
You can skip the parent dances, if it’s easier.

You don’t need to have any dances. At our wedding we did three dances: Bride & groom first dance, father-daughter dance, mother-son dance. If you limit it to that, or maybe add in a dance for the bridal party, it would completely sidestep the issue.
I don’t think you need to have a stepfather-bride dance unless you are especially close to your mom’s new husband.
I have never been to a wedding where there was a special parents-only dance.
As for announcements, I agree that they can just be announced separately. Even if your dad brings a date, if he’s not in a serious relationship then I think it’s fine for the date to stay seated at his table while he is introduced on his own. Your stepdad should be introduced with your mom though.

maybe i should clarify… i’m not looking for them to dance, its more trying to figure out how to announce them as they walk into the room… do i have mom walk in with her husband, mom walk in with my dad and leave her husband out , mom dad and fiances parents all walk in together… and i cant quite figue out the music to have playing while they walk in… Fiance and i are walking in to acdc you shook me all night long ( its the first song we ever danced to ) and the bridal party is walking into queen another one bites the dust…
