(Closed) Divorced Parents–Where to Seat Them in the Ceremony??

Would they cause a scene if they were seated near each other?

If not, I think it should be:

Aisle Mom Stepdad Dad Stepmom.

I would put them all on the first row.  If you are having your Dead walk you, I would have him on the aisle.

I would put them all in the front row. You didn’t say if they get along or not, but if not, they are adults and should be able to behave for the duration of the wedding.

I agree to put them all in the front row.  We had a small ceremony with everyone standing.  However, my parents were divorced two years before my wedding and have not had a good relationship recently.  They stood beside each other and did just fine.

I’m having this same problem–added in that my family is still on shaky ground with my dad.  I think they’re all grown-ups and should behave themselves for their daughter’s special day.  First row for them all.

Same problem here! We are sitting his dad and step mom with my mom and his mom and step dad on the other side.

grandmother raise granddaughter since she was 4 months .Mother was out picture now back in since daughter getting married. should grandmother be sitted last and grandfather giving the brideaway.
