@lastlastfirst:  Yay DIY projects! Are you trying to arrange the baby’s breath into a kissing ball…

or into a ball shaped bouquet-ish centerpiece like this…?

If you’re thinking more of a pomander-type ball, then yes I think the best way is to get a sphere form of some sort (styrofoam, paper lantern, I’ve even seen some created by a Bee using bath poofs!, etc) and build on them. If you’re trying to make a round bouquet like the second picture, I don’t think you have to have a form. It would definitely save money to skip that step. It would just take careful arranging. Good luck and please post pics of the process!

Looks great!!! I love Baby’s Breath, and I knew it was going to be our wedding flower right from the get go. Were DIYing our centrepieces too, but were going with real. I found a fantastic floral seller at a local farmers market and we only have 7 tables to do so I don’t think it will be a problem for us. This was my inspiration photo.

I think it’s a great start, looks awesome!!!

I’m not totally sure but I think they kind of “wedged” the foam into the top of the vase so it wouldn’t go anywhere. The vases themselves were pretty heavy.

My venue actually did the flowers so I didn’t even touch them. Sorry I’m not much help!

lastlastfirst:  how many bunches of babys breath did you use? Your ceterpieces are gorgous! I have 18 tables too and am going for the same exact look! What did you end us doing with the ceterpieces? Interested in selling them? Lol

lastlastfirst:  The smaller one is perfect, i think the taller one needs to be a bit larger.
