So I am unheathily obsessing over pipe and drape. I need it for 3 different parts of my wedding. I was convinced I wanted to use the IKEA LILL curtain panels, they’re relatively long and pretty nice and sheer/flowy looking.
But, if my piping is 8 feet tall, I think they won’t be able to cover the ailver stand part. Another worry is that you’ll be able to see it in sections and I don’t want you to be able to tell they’re in panels I will show you some pictures and maybe you can hep!
most of the draping I’ve seen is 118″ wide and they say that would cover 2-4 feet depending on fullness
this would be for me/guests to enter through and close able.
And and something like either of these for us to say our vows in front of
Help me please!

Are you making the piping? Could you make it a few inches shorter? Could you spray paint the stand part to blend in more if it shows?

I would be renting it
i would rather make my own to sell it but, I don’t know the place I rented from will give me back my deposit. It’s only $84 but every cent counts and they would use it as a store credit. But I don’t need anything else from them. So I can only think to rent the piping from them. I could probably by 9 ft in length for fabric but, it’s just more expensive. And I can’t get them in the IKEA panels. Unless I just got an extra curtain and tried to cover up the plate of the stand with it. Idk how that would look though.
That is the exact set I would be getting.

I would just buy two extra panels of the curtains. Attach them to the pipe with zip straps about 2/3 to 3/4 of the way up the pole so it puddles on the floor and covers the bottom plate. Then then regular side panels will cover the joint.
