I’m one of those that love flowers and couldn’t wait to getmy flowers done. I decided to go with DIY projects instead of going with a florist since I’m on a budget. These are my trial bouquet that I did for my bridal shoot. It’s really fun so far and I would encourage other brides out there to do a trial before deciding to do your own flowers for your wedding. It’s less scary than you think 🙂 It’s actually a fun experience and I had fun with my friends.

I usually am not a flower person, but I had to comment and say how lovely that is! The colors are so vibrant and you did very well at creating contrasting textures.

Wow, that looks really great! Are those feathers at the bottom? Where did you get them? I’m trying to find some white feathers for my own DIY bouquet but haven’t had any luck so far…

Heath24- I got my feathers from this site http://tonyhill.net/. IT’s gorgeous in person. They arrived pretty fast too!

The colors really pop and I really like all the different accents you added, its not your every day/ generic flower arrangement. Very Pretty!

Very impressive! When I see these lovely DIY flowers it gives me hope that I can do mine too. I still need to do a trial though.

Gorgeous! Umm…you could totally open up a business 🙂

@Heath24 You might want to try looking at SixStarSales on ebay. They have tons of ostrich feathers and plumes and some of the most reasonable prices I’ve seen so far.

Here’s the photo of the stem. I didn’t think to take a picture of it dooh. I will definitely take lots of pictures when I make it for my wedding.
Quiche- I was thinking of opening a business out of my home. It’s hard to get clients though.
