Just wondering if any other Bees have make their own fabric flower or brooch bouquet? (Feel free to share pics!)
When I first got engaged I saw this video on Youtube and decided to make my own bouquet. I like the idea of having flowers that I could save as a keepsake and I love to craft.
However it has turned out to be very time consuming since I decided to make flowers not only for my own bouquet, but my bridesmaids’ as well. I was going to do a toss bouquet, but scrapped that idea. Was wondering if anyone wanted to share their bouquet as an inspiration to myself and others? C:

Not paper or brooch, I made mine from balsa (wood) flowers. I was really pleased with how they turned out. I painted all the flowers myself to get the colours I wanted

I made my own using brooches. Our colors were all greys, so I kept the brooches in the silver family. I used new ones mixed in with vintage ones and also used some things I had in my jewelry box, like some old shoe clips or discarded earrings. I wired each one with heavy wire and then covered the wire with white floral tape. I used a styrofoam base and covered that with satin ribbon. I used some pins with crystal heads on the handle part too. I also used some silver ribbon with wired edges for the part of the bouquet that was in between the brooches and the handle. Overall I think I remember spending maybe $100 to $150 on materials and then I took my time making it over several months (wiring takes a long time!). I still admire the bouquet every day as it sits in a hallway next to one of our wedding photos, so I really like that it is everlasting. Bridesmaids carried very simple baby’s breath bouquets.

Does DIY include buying fake flowers and throwing them together?

Mine was made from Sola wood flowers, pine cones, juniper, pine, wheat, grass, and feathers. All wired together and wrapped with twine. I did all the wiring, my BM’s helped me assemble them after I had a meltdown because I couldn’t get them to look right.
