My sister got engaged to her long time BF earlier this year and planned on having the ceremony fall 2017. However, she was notified that she will be moving overseas for work at the end of the month. While she is really excited for the opportunity, it really threw a wrench in the wedding planning! Her fiance’s company was only willing to move him if they were officially married, so last week they legally tied the knot to make everything easier.
I intended on surprising her with a bouquet on the day of, but caved and asked if she and the Fiance would like to pick out flowers with me. It would have been so much easier if they hadn’t (so indecisive!), but we all had a lovely time picking things out together. Her non-negotiable flowers were snapdragons and Queen Anne’s lace; his were roses and daisies. It ended up being a lot more vertical than I planned, but I’m quite pleased with it anyways!
Cost was $70 which included all the flowers for her bouquet, his boutonniere, and a decent sized bouquet for myself, plus satin wrapping ribbon and florists tape.
And for fun, all the flowers in my mom’s sink the night before when I was prepping them
