What do you think of my bouquet? My colours are dusky peach/pink, ivory, black, white and charcoal. I was going for a vintagey, shabby chic feel. I used the little bright flowers to add a pop of colour against my dress. The ivory roses are the exact same colour as my dress and didnt show up against it. The brooches I added belonged to my mum who passed away in September so i really wanted to include them. Opinions please 🙂 x

it looks really great! I honestly love it!

I like it 🙂 but not too much of a fan of the wire over it.

Thank you! I am pretty happy with how it turned out although it doesnt look anything like my inspiration pic 🙂 so relieved others like it too.
I got all my flowers from ebay, they are foam rather than silk, more expensive (although they were still really cheap) than silk but i think they look more realistic. The tiny peonys are silk, I could only find roses in foam

I love it! I love the mix of flower and brooch and the mixed colors. The lace bow is a little froofy for me, personally, but if you’re a lacey girly girl, then it’s perfect!

The silver flowers and the wire are throwing me off. And the roses, IMO, look like gum paste flowers that you’d find on a cake. Because of the foam, they don’t have the texture that a real flower (or even a good silk) would have. I like the overall color scheme (minus the silver) and I think the lace is a nice touch. The shape is great, too.

I see where you’re coming from with the gum paste flowers, but i would never have real as i dont see the beauty in cut flowers i prefer them planted and alive lol, just my opinion though i dont think its bad for others to have real flowers. I couldnt find any silk flowers i liked though, they all looked really fake, they werent very good quality :/
I used the wire with pearls on to tie in the brooches as i really wanted to use them since they were my mums
I was thinking of getting rid of the lace bow i think it might be too much with everything else and i’d rather keep the brooches and lose the lace 🙂
Thanks for your input bees i love hearing what people think, i’m driving my BMs mad endlessly talking ‘wedding’! Keep it coming 😀

I think it looks nice! I kind of agree – I’m not sure about the wire. I think it would look fine without it. I understand where you’re coming from, trying to tie the flowers and the brooches together, but it seems like the wire should be incorporated more, rather than being laid on top. But I think the brooches look really cute with the rest of the flowers. If you want to use the wire, is there a way to arrange it so it kind of fills in between flowers, rather than laying on top of them? Or maybe even find places to pinch the wire so it’s a little mini “sprig” sticking out?
Personally, rather than the big bow, I’d just maybe wrap the lace around the stems, or make the bow smaller (thinner lace?)
Regardless of my opinion, it’s still lovely! Whatever you do, don’t feel bad about the flowers (I think they’re lovely!) and don’t get rid of the brooches – the sentimental things like that are what make your wedding special!

No, I love the wire! I love the texture of the flowers and I think the metal mixed in is super neat and very pretty.

Very pretty! I’d lose the lace bow and just wrap the lace around the handle.
