@eocenia:  I think it’s fab! I know my man wouldn’t go for a crocheted buttonhole, but if he’d have let me…

I think it’s lovely!  It coordinates nicely with your paper items so far πŸ™‚

@eocenia:  They are really fab! Cant believe that’s your first attempt. I also did DIY bouTonnaires. I think they add a lovely, personal touch πŸ™‚

@eocenia:  I love it! Though to be honest, I’m not a big fan of the plastic things in the middle. They kind of cheapen it, but then again, I’m not a fan of plastic embellishments in real flowers either. lol

Definitely run it past your man before you make them. My Fiance doesn’t care what his boutonierre looks like, but he’s definitely expecting actual flowers or something simple/modern. Make sure he’s ok with it!

I’m a big fan of anything made with yarn.  Really, my yarn collection is sick!  Its tricky keeping it up to date instead of dated looking.  (not my grandma’s crochet)

I’d really like to see this in the yarn you’re planning on using, and I’m in agreement with PP, no plastic stickyouty things.  Usually, crochet is good on its own.

@eocenia:  Ah, well. It’s evens now. I didn’t have one fresh flower in my wedding. Couldn’t justify spending hundreds on something that would die in a day…But that’s just me. I got someone to make felt flowers for my bouquets and I was going to do the same for boutounaires but it turned out too expensive. We made ones using sacking and lavendar(fake). A bit embarrassed because yours are fab and mine look a bit homemade! I loved doing the DIY for the wedding but did very little before!

Just tried to upload but the file is too big so will have to try again on my other computer with editing software.

Btw, I looked at some of your other DIY projects. Love them, espeically your bag and cake topper πŸ™‚
