i am rather ecstatic that these turned out so well. well, at least i think they did!
i saw some on etsy and just dont have it in the budget to pay $70ish for 5 Boutonnieres so i made my own for less than $15!
small stem with flower, pearl spray, and leaves- .99 cents (5 total) $5
feathers- $3 from etsy
silver square charm – sale- $1.99 for 5
black and blue ribbon i already had from other projects but even so it was .50 cents a spool.
TOTAL COST FOR 5 BOUTS…roughly $10!
what’dya think bees?

very very nice, you should post a tutorial of how you made them in the DIY section

i can post a tutorial once the rest of my feathers come in and i can make another.
but for now if youd like to know, i bought a little flower bunch from the wedding section of the craft store. it had leaves and pearl sprays.
i cut the top half off leaving just the white rose and the leaves and i glued a third leaf on. i placed the pearls sprays where i wanted them ang glued them in place. i looped the blue ribbon to get that look and then tucked it behind the flower and glued it. i then placed the black feather behind the whole thing.
for the stem part i wrapped the entire thing in a black ribbon just to make the stem not so skinny. then i went around the black with blue ribbon. then i had a thin black ribbon i crisscrossed down the stem. always gluing in place. then i placed a little charm on the stem and glued it in place. and Done!
it was very very easy

Oh my goodness! These are exactly what I needed to see! I am making my own bouquets with satin flowers and needed a way to incorporate the satin flowers in the bouts! So excited for the tutorial!
