We DIYd ours, but with roses. We made them the night before, and kept them in the mini fridge. I think it’d be risky to do them any sooner than 24 hrs ahead of time, if you’re using fresh flowers, of course.

I doubt doing them a few hours early will matter, just make sure you keep them cool. If you have time to do them after the rehearsal dinner, go for it, but I’m sure it’ll be fine either way.

I’ve always heard that you should make boutonnieres no sooner than the night before, then put in the fridge as PPs said.  You can make bouquets the day before since they can be placed in water.  If you end up making them, you should post pictures!  🙂
