Since I’m DIYing my makeup I thought I’d start playing around now in order to have it perfected by the time I actually have to apply it. I took a couple of photos last week of what I have together so far and I’d love any suggestions you guys may have. Thank you in advance! Oh and if it makes a difference, I will have my hair up in the wedding.

Fantastic! I think it looks beautiful, well done 🙂

I think you did a wonderful job. I think you could do a little bit more on your lids but I think even if you didn’t that it looks fantastic.

Very nice! I suggest primer and setting spray if you don’t use it already though. I used Urban Decay’s All Nighter Spray and Make Up Forever’s HD Primer and my make up stayed the entire rainy day.

@chouette: very nicely done! I would suggest a little highlight underneath the arch of your brows and also in your inner corner. You might have already done it in the inner corners, I’m not sure.
Ditto on above about primer and setting spray.

I think you look great!! I love your eyebrows!
Also agree with pps on the makeup setting spray & primer, if you haven’t used it. UD All Nighter or Deslick, and Smashbox Photofinish Light are my holy grail products to help your makeup last.

Thanks! I was thinking I might need a little more on the lids.
I actually have the UD stuff and I plan on grabbing all of the MUFE stuff before my big day.
I’ll be sure to add highlighter, thanks!
You have no idea how nice it is to hear that my eyebrows look nice, for some reason I hate them!
You guys are all so sweet! You’ve made my day, thank you for taking the time to comment.

I think it looks great as is – you’re gorgeous! If you want a little extra, I would add some false lashes. I used a few individual clumps and felt like it gave me a little extra oomph, plus less mascara (and I’m a mascara fiend). I’m not sure how much blush you have on b/c in one photo it looks like the perfect amount and in the other it looks a little faint (but still great). If you want a little extra color, you could try a teeny bit more (I layered a stain blush with powder on top). Also, dependent on what color your dress is, it can change things a little. My dress was ivory and it washed me out a teeny bit so a bit of extra blush helped me.

That looks great! If anything, I would do a little more with your eyes. You have beautiful eyes, so I think a little more color on the lids or perhaps a little more liner or mascara would really make them pop even more! The lipcolor you chose really compliments your skin tone.

We are our own worst critic! They look perfect to me! But, I get it, I hate my eyebrows, too lol.
