I have a HP Officejet Pro 8500 all-in-one. It works great for me. I use it for business and also for wedding stuff. I have also printed out photos on it and they look just as good, if not better than the original. I have absolutely no complaints. I suggest taking something you want printed to where you might get your printer and have them make a copy and/or print it out for you, so you can see the difference. The ink color cartridges are about $10.00 and I think the black ink cartridge is about $30.00. The ink does seem to last a very long time though.

I just picked up a colour laser printer last week so I could DIY invites, programs, etc.  I bought the HP colour laser jet CP1518.  So far the print quality is amazing.  I just bought some paper samples that I was thinking of using for our invitation suite so I can check it out.  My dad has had the same printer for about a year and he has been really happy with it too.

The cartridges for laser jet printers are expensive, but the ink last a long time and won’t dry out.  Good luck!
