DIY bulk flowers for centerpieces

Hi Mlim,

You can do it! Depending on when your wedding is, I would recommend going through a local farm that grows flowers because flowers direct from a local farm are generally cheaper. I used to manage a cut flower operation at an organic farm and did flowers for weddings; brides who bought flowers from us in bulk spent between $200-$300. You could also find a florist who would be willing to sell you bulk flowers, but maybe make your bridal bouquet and the groom’s bout (since you don’t want to take chances on that!).  I would recommend putting the arrangements together Friday morning and storing them in the venue’s cooler (or a basement or room with AC).
