Hey bees!
Just wanted to show you the signs I recently made for our candy bar. I am a little infatuated with dave matthews band and have always loved this quote. Plus how perfect is it for a candy bar?!?
It’s made from a $4 frame from goodwill, painted and distressed to be shabby chic. then the writing was painted on the back of the glass. This part was made really easy by printing a template (mirror image of the final product). this template is taped to the front of the glass so that you can just trace the letters onto the back of the glass. Using a paint pen (sharpie makes a bunch) instead of a paint brush also made it fool-proof. It was fun to try a bunch of different fonts and even coordinating it with my invitations.

My sister and mom just visited and loved it so much we had to go to goodwill that day to find more frames. she made an adorable anchor sign for her sorority (DG) and my mom is trying to find the perfect quote to put in hers.
Be careful – they are kind of addictive!!
