I’m not sure when your wedding is but we are planning on doing the candy bar for 150 people. Just remember not everyone will get candy… A key I have heard is to be careful about how large the container that you allow your guests to have…if you provide them with a huge take out box…they will probably fill it up…then you may run out

I found personalized small paper bags that you can get online…they will hold about 5 oz of candy each…they were also very cheap…200 for around $50 (I think)

You can also get those small organza bags…those are pretty cheap too.

I am doing 3 large apothecary jars, surrounded by 4 small jars and I am putting the bags in baskets to take up more space. I am using all white, pink, and green candy and using a pink table runner under the display with our monogram in the center! Hopefully it will look like it does in my head!

I am probably ordering total about 15 pounds of candy. We’ll see how it goes!

If you are getting married after August…I’ll let you know how it goes!

Just as another tip… while helping my friend put together candy favors for her wedding (she didn’t do a buffet though), I ran across this awesome website! They have the ability to sort their candy by COLOR! Woohoo!
