That looks awesome! Where did you get the hexagon boxes at? Or did you make them too?? And I want one, only in greens instead!

It’s lovely! I like how the slot is lined with pearls and sparklies. Great work, girl!

I love it, the pearls are beautiful. Please tell us where you got all the items like the boxes and pearls and what you did! Ive been looking for hat boxes and thought i saw them at AC Moore but I think they put them away now that all the holiday stuff is out.

hi! thank you all for the comments! it makes me feel great to know you feel the same way i do about my cardbox! ok so here is where i bought the ~ingrediants~
The hatboxs i bought at burlington coat factory. they were less than $12 all together
the pearl strands around the boxes i made. i bought a bag of fake pearls in the bead aisle of AC Moore. i strung them on some stretchy string i have from other beading projects. the only complaint i have with this is that when i went to hot glue the pearls, the gun melted the plastic string which lead to some extra glue work…and a few uneven pearls! maybe try a different type of string that wont melt?
the pearl accents around the slot i bought at michaels. they were at an endcap really close to scrapbooking items. they come on adhesive plastic and each section is about 2 inches long. i put multiple sections together and did some trimming here and there. i attached them with extra glue because i was worried that the adhesive ?sticker? it comes on wont hold well on its own.
the flowers i bought on sale at michaels. and the little crystal gems inside the roses i actually bought on wedding bee from another bee!
Hope this helps, and happy crafting!

What a beautiful card box! You know, there’s a great market for these kinds of details on Etsy. Just saying… :o)
