PS – That box is so pretty! It’s going to look gorgeous! I would also try a dollar store btw, I know some of the ones near me carry stuff boxes in their crafting section. It may be worth while to look, even if you just end up with the smaller ones from there.

I’ve seen hat boxes really cheap at Burlington Coat Factory and other stoes like that: Ross, TJ Maxx, Marshall’s. But with the coupons from Michael’s, you may find them even cheaper.

I’ve seen a lot of posts about card boxes.  What is the main purpose of these?  Does it replace the guest book?

@soonerbride: It’s to go on your gift table, for any “card” gifts you may receive so you don’t just end up with a messy stack of cards on the table. Also, I think it’s a bit of safety too, keeping them all contained in one place rather than having them all sitting out in the open where everyone can see how many there are.

I got mine from JoAnn crafts. I got 4 for $20.
