Ok, I am making my DIY centerpeices. I did a partial trial (see pics). Let me know what you think of them and what you would change. PS imagine, the table cloth and overlay were steamed (They will be steamed for wedding, just aren’t yet). Also the vase will be on a circular mirror, and there will be clear gems in bottom of vase (to hold flowers down), and an ivory floating candle at the top of the water in vase. Please try to imagine this, I have these things bought, but accidently left them at my apt this weekend when I was trying out my new flowers/ vases.
Half the tables will look like this (every other table), and the other half will look like the others (otherwise the purple is too overwhelming for a small space.

Is this what you’re thinking of?
Referring to the 8th picture down?

I think they look just lovely.

I like them, just maybe spread some purple rose petals with the white flower and white ones with the purple flower? I have a hard time imagining though so maybe with the mirror it would be enough?

I agree with Izz81, maybe a few petals around them or more votives to fill in it. I really like the simplicity of the flower in the water, but you can never have too many candles (try doubling them)

I agree with the more candles thing. I think the white one looks very elegant, what kind of flowers did you use?

Thanks for the suggestions, I have purple rose petals, so I could deff. add that. I know I wish I had remembered to get the mirror before, but I’ll try it again closer to date with the mirror and see what it looks and what it needs. I love the vase/ flowers though. I’m pretty excited it turned out good. I just used silk ivory and dark purple open roses that I ordered from ebay. They worked awesome in my centerpeices though, so i’m pretty happy.
