I have been majorly stressing about what I should do for my DIY centerpieces. We’re guessing there will be somewhere around 20 tables, more or less.
I was originally thinking manzanita, but it was too hard to transport. Then I “decided” on tall, black candlesticks with a large velvet rose pomander on top — but making 20 of those pomanders takes too much time and money. Submerged flowers? Ehhh… too much day-of work. What about a bunch of ivory candles at various heights? Oh, wait, our venue only allows floating candles.
Then I discovered — dun da da da! — mason jars! We could fill them with just enough water to add a floating candle to each one.
HERE’S THE PLAN:
1. Put a mirror down on the table.
2. Put sparkly, gold, dried baby’s breath (#5 below) in a vase (#4) in the center of the mirror
3. Surround the vase with different mismatched, clear mason jars (#1)
4. Put a little water in each jar, and add a floating candle to each one
