@CanadianMermaid:  I agree.  Plus, this way, you won’t have to worry about people being unable to see around the centerpieces to talk among the table.  I really like your flower choice too – what are they?  Paper?  Thistle flowers?

I think they look great!! I think that is a good vase height much shorter and it could look weird.
