Well, since you asked!  Mine were cotton, balsa wood and dried flowers.  I spent a little less than $400 on the materials for 10 centerpieces, 4 bm bouquets, my bouquet, ceremony flowers and 15 bouts.

Here’s my centerpieces:

We did half and half. Floral, which were done by a florist, and non-floral, which were DIY and varied a bit. My mom and I spent months scouring garage sales looking for glassware for the centerpieces. I’m happy to say that I spent less than $50 on 5 DIY centerpieces and the majority of that budget went to the candles.

The non florals were all some variation of this, whether it be multiple smaller pieces or one large piece. I just added the pillar candles and fake berry thingamajigs then surrounded the centerpieces with votives…

I guess I’ll also add our DIY candy buffet that we did for the kids centerpiece. Kids don’t care about expensive floral arrangements or fancy centerpieces so we opted for sugar instead. The adults pretty much owned their table all night…

Here were my DIY centerpieces. I bought the tall vases, two fish bowl vases, glass beads, and Real Touch (artificial) flowers for each table. The total cost was $30 per table.

We also DIYed the bouquets, so I’ll include that as an example that if you use artificial flowers then it won’t be crazy expensive. I’ve never arranged flowers or anything wedding related either so it was really easy.

We DIY’d all flowers as well.  Although, I have a family member who has done flower arranging as a hobby for some time, so it wasn’t completely learning from scratch.
