I am going to attempt a DIY project of creating wood signs that have the words "Ceremomy" and then a directional arrow and maybe another one with "Wedding." I have also seen some real cute ones with "Bride" & "Groom" for the reception chairs. Can anyone tell me or direct me to a website on how to create the text on the wood sign so it looks professional? I have seem some that are rustic looking but I am looking for a more polished look/font. See my attached picture. Any help is greatly appreciated!

You probably just need a steady hand and a paint brush.
But you might be able to use wall decals. I’ve never used them, but there are lots of places online where you can get custom text and transfer them onto walls – I don’t know why you couldn’t tranfer to a board.
There might also be some crafty trick that scrapbookers use…

Print the wording you’d like in the font and size you’d like on a regular printer. Put the paper print off over your board and then trace the letters using the thick permentant marker (press hard!). The ink of the marker should seep though the paper enough to leave a basic outline on the wood and then you can fill in with paint.
