I think they look good enough, but make sure to enlist some help if you can! That’s a lot of work the day before!

I think it’d be fine if you don’t mind the added time/stress to make them, and you don’t want professional looking cupcakes!

I think its a great idea. What kind of tip do you use? I think they are nicer looking with a fuller top. I use a 1M gives a more professional look.

I wouldnt do it, my friend spent the whole day 2 days before her wedding baking and icing her cupcake favours. Maybe if you had 2 or 3 people helping

Pretty! I plan to do the same thing for my wedding, except I want to do mini cupcakes with a lot of other mini desserts (brownies, cheesecakes, dessert shooters, etc).

The only thing I’d change are the cupcake liners. Etsy has some really cute colorful liners that will match your wedding colors.

Those look great! If you feel comfortable, go for it! I haven’t had my wedding yet, but I’m thinking that all I want to try and do for the day before my wedding is relax:)  I do agree with kate_goat – that it would be so helpful to have a couple people assisting you!

I think they’ll look great!  The plus side to doing them yourself (besides cost) is that you can chose your favorite recipes!

@mtbikelover:  I made all the cupcakes for my shower… but I wasn’t prepared, so I was just winging it and worrying a lot.  They worked out.  I also baked for about 2 weeks straight prior to my wedding day making almost every cookie on our cookie table.  It was a lot of work and I think I burned myself out, but your cupcakes look really cute and you have a plan!
