- Wedding: May 2011
My Cupcake & I became engaged on November 20, 2009. One month later we just had to have our Engagement Dinner Celebration so our immediate Families could have their first meet and greet. I am proud to say today we are 19 weeks from our Wedding: May 14, 2011. 😀
I am all about DIY/Budget projects. I created a total of 12 invitations. It took me approx. 6 hours from start to finish.
1.) Bended Knee Invitation Kit at Wilton.com 12/$5.99
2.) Personal Printer
It is simple you purchase your cardstock, and go to Wilton.com and find the template matching your purchase and simply fill in the blanks…It does get a bit tricky though. It took me hours to get every word perfect (perfectionist speaking).
“Light Bulb” :-o…I got the bright idea to personalize the flap of each mailing envelope. Again it was difficult but worth it. I created these over 1 year ago but I do believe that there is a template to do this on the Wilton web-site, I simply chose to spice it up with an ever so appropriate: “He asked, and She said “Yes”.
Tip: Let me dry! Or you will be ticked off with a smudged mess.
After they dry then apply the Rhinestone they give you, that is super easy. If you did not see the Rhinetones’ take a look at the lady’s hand in the air…yeah it’s a big rock. 🙂
I bought thoes Silver Heart Stickers at Wal-Mart in the Wedding aisle. I do not remember how much they were but my guess is 12/$3.00.
I also added in confettii into each envelope.
As for To/From address labels. I bought Avery Address Labels at Wal-Mart, I believe, $10.00. I went to their web-site and found a perfect template with a bride/groom dress that matched the inivitation.
Everyone loved the Invitation that is the best part for all of the hard work I put into it. 🙂
