@lina010:  I purchased in bunches for my filler flowers, 48 stems of roses (for bouquets and petals), and 72 stems of peony roses.  I made a trial bouquet of regular roses to get an idea of the size/quantitiy of stems, then I honestly just guessed lol.

@lina010: I didn’t really do much math as far as calculating what I need, I’m just hoping I bought enough! LOL. The market I ordered the flowers from is always fully stocked, and there are 3 other similar markets withing a block of it, so if I need more, I will just have to choose from what they have!

Here is what I ordered:

75 dark purple carnations

75 white carnations

75 lavender roses

50 green hydrangea

35 stems of green button mums

Letsee if I can remember it all…..

Ivory Hydrangea   – 90 stems
Pink roses- 72 stems
Peach roses – 72 stems
Hypericum -peach –  80 stems
Bicolor roses-  72 stems
pink peonies – 12 total
Greenery salal – 1 case -100 stems

from this I made my bouquet, two bridesmaid bouquets, the MOB and MOG posies, the bouteniiers, the flower girl posies, and about 30 centerpieces.  My bridal bouquet was HUGE, i used way more for my bouquet then I originally planned, but I had tons of flowers so it was all good.
