Has anyone created simple floral centerpieces by making a trip to the farmers market or flower shop before the wedding?
It seems like a great idea….just run to the wholesale flower shop, hold them in the fridge (right?) the night before, then plop them in a vase the day of. Too good to be true? I’m sure there are horror stories, but has anyone succeeded in this? PICS?

I bought mine online & had them delivered to my best friends 2 days before the wedding. We assembled our our bouquets & centerpieces for the wedding though. They turned out great & no body could tell they were DIY

@alicia1745: This is my thought too. Do you have any specific site that you used? Which flowers did you use? Did the flowers look good? Did you have any hang-ups?

We are planning on getting our flowers from an online wholesaler or from Sams Club, and to grow some as well. From the reviews I’ve seen from Sams club and a few others (fiftyflowers?) most people say that it goes pretty smoothly.
