I decided I’d spend this afternoon at an attempt to create a rose & hydrangea centrepiece. I dropped by a local flower market and picked up 8 blush roses, 6 white roses, and 2 jumbo hydrangeas for a total of $20.
30 minutes later, I have the centrepieces you see before you! The vase was $2 at the dollar store, and I only used 1 hydrangea, so that means the total cost for the centrepiece is $20!
I used gardening rubber coated flex ties to hold the flowers together (also got this for $1.50 at the dollar store). Oh, how I love the dollar store!!!
Anyways, here goes! I will need to make 12 of these, and then 1 larger version (for the head table). I am SUPER excited at the cost savings 🙂
