Hi Fellow DIYers!!
I have been going back and forth about what I wanted my flower girls to carry down the aisle.
So this is what I have decided on and I would like to hear some opinions while I still have some time to change things up if neccessary!
I am going to have one of my girls carry a sign similar to this one…
And then I was going to have my other flower girl carry this little bucket and scatter off-white and dark brown feathers down the aisle. My colors are dark brown, green, ivory, and little touches of orange. I am using brooches and feathers throughout my wedding and I have an overall vintage feel, so I thought this was a cute touch! What do you think??

I think they look lovely, but do you think that the flower girls will get jealous of each other, if they aren’t carrying the same thing? If you think they might, you could always have the ring bearer carry the sign, if you are having one.

I think it will be very cute. I think it depends on their age how they feel about doing different things. Also if they are both expecting to be the “flower” girl (make that feather girl), the one who carries the sign might be a little disappointed.
I would take the daisy off the copper bucket though. You may also have to shorten that ribbon, but that’s easily done.

Thanks ladies. My flower girls are a little older, so I don’t think the jealousy thing will be a big deal. I might run it by their mom though before I get started making my sign! 🙂
@julies1949: And yes, I was debating on whether or not to leave the daisy. I like it because it ties in the brooches that I have throughout my wedding. I think I might have a different brooch that looks better with the design on the bucket though.

Very cute! I especially love the sign. 🙂 One thing to consider is whether it’s big enough for guests to read it. I’ve also seen “Here Comes the Bride” banners as another option – sometimes carried by two children, one at each end.
We had a “ring princess” instead of ring bearer/flower girl. She carried a wand. We used a starfish because it was a beach wedding, but I’ve also seen beautiful wands with flowers or just ribbons and organza on the end. Here’s our DIY wand:

I love it! Maybe you can attach some jingle bells to the sign too.

I’m having twelve flower kids (6 girls, 4 boys), and they’ll be carrying large pinwheels in our colors…but I love your “Here Comes the Bride” sign. So sweet!

@AnnaBeth: OMG! How cute! You are going to have a little flower kids parade…love it!
@LetThereBeLite: Thanks! I am probably going to add a brooch or some rhinestones to go with my theme! Jingle bells is cute too!
@NotYourTypicalBride: Your wand is too cute! I haven’t seen that before!
