I like them, but I may change the straming ribbons. I just used curling ribbon, but it gets all creased when you store them. Or do they look better without the ribbons?
I also found this cute idea: http://www.google.com/imgres?q=flower+girl+butterfly+net&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&biw=1503&bih=644&tbm=isch&tbnid=Vc0e4XcdK00WfM:&imgrefurl=http://cgi.ebay.com/Butterfly-NET-Wedding-Flower-Girl-BASKET-Butterflies-/370414076728&docid=2x33i9PrWJKm7M&itg=1&w=533&h=800&ei=ur93Tt2mOvOosALchdyLBQ&zoom=1&iact=hc&vpx=918&vpy=222&dur=3759&hovh=275&hovw=183&tx=83&ty=116&page=1&tbnh=152&tbnw=105&start=0&ndsp=15&ved=1t:429,r:4,s:0.
I have butterflies as a kind of “sub-theme” (it’s a fall wedding, WITH butterflies). Which do you think my flower girls would like better?
(Btw, I’m using poms for the aisle, so I’d rather not make poms for the girls.)

I am doing wands also, and I don’t think they work without the ribbons. That’s the BEST part (IMO)! I am doing thicker and longer ribbons though. I think your Flower Girl will like the ribbon ones better than a butterfly net…mostly because a fall wedding won’t have a lot to catch with it, and do you want them running around chasing bugs during your ceremony lol?

I agree with longer, thicker ribbons. And in satin or fabric material too as they will flow better. For my ribbon wands I am using 2-3 feet of ribbon per ribbon color on the wands.
And In My Humble Opinion I don’t think the white looks nice with the fall color scheme.

I like this I think its a really cute idea!! I do think the ribbons should be there… Just not those ribbons I also think that they need to be much longer.
Kind of like this.

I agree with @organizedbride11: the ribbons should be longer. I also think they should be comming out the top. If not it just looks like flowers on a stick. Maybe you could screw an eye hook into the top of the stick btween the flowers and tie ribbons onto that.

@KoiKove: Good idea! Thanks!
Thanks everybody! I will definitely go for the wands, with longer ribbons!
