Is anyone else creating their own bouquets?? I am only using mine for the ceremony and pictures so I did not see a point in spending hundereds of dollars on a floral arrangement only being used for an hour. I am very excited to try and find something to put together. My sister already told me she wants to use them for her wedding too! Family tradition??!! How are you all making yours and where are you finding the best materials?? Thanks

My mom made mine. it was supposed to be mom AND me, but she got so into it i let her go nuts.
Michaels for pliers, flower tape, pearls that stick out of the bouquet, florals, satin ribbon, and floral pins. I went during a half off floral sale. $200 for eveyrhting. 8 bouquets, 6 boutoniers, 3 corsages…not too shabby!

I am in the process of making mine right now. It’s really not difficult and the best part with using silk flowers is that you can play with them until you’re happy without damaging them.
I bought most my supplies at Hobby Lobby (hope you have access to one!) during their frequent 50% off sales. Woohoo savings! I bought 30 real touch large callas and 40 medium callas for $120. I also bought floral tape, ribbon, pins, corsage wristbands, and swarovski crystals and wire to make bead sprays for the bouts. Oh, and I got a great deal on the orchids on ebay.
I have enough to make 4 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, 1 bridal, 4 Groomsmen bouts, 1 groom bout, 8 bouts for the parents and grandparents and 4 mother corsages.
I’ve posted pictures of the Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquet (they won’t end up having the charm though) and some of the bouts.
Hope this helps!
