Karlina Carballo-Ojeda :  Fake flowers can run as expensive or even more expensive than real flowers but the benefit is that you can get things that are out of season.

I’d recommend checking with a florist for what blue and orange flowers would be available and at what price. You can then check online or in your big city’s fashion district for fake ones and see if it’s worth it.

If you have a hobby lobby in your area they normally have sales on silk florals which are 50% off every other week. Michael’s craft store has silk florals 40% off. I would also do as suggested and check with local florist to see what they can provide and to compare pricing to determine what you need. You could always do your bouquets, boutonnieres, and corsages with real flowers and use silk flowers for other things. I would definitely compare prices with florists in the area.

I made my bouquet and will be making the rest of the flowers. Total cost for everything about $80-100. In my area the type of flowers I wanted would cost about $300-$400. Making our own is way more beneficial for us. It depends on what type of flowers you want and design. Here’s my bouquet Incase you need any ideas.
