I ordered mine from http://www.growersbox.com/

They arrived when they were supposed too and looked good.  Be sure to follow all the ordering suggestions they offer along with the directions for care for each type of flower – soooo important!

I didn’t use “spring water” as they suggested and my flowers did start to yellow towards the end of my reception.

I haven’t ordered mine yet, but I’m getting mine through fiftyflowers!  I’ve heard such good things about them and they have exactly what I want for a great price.

@juliemd414:  do you have pictures of your flowers?  I’d love to see how they came out!!

Here is a photo of my DIY wedding bouquet.  Hand tied with roses and mini calla lilies.  Tied with ivory ribbon and pearl pins.

Oh wow!  They’re beautiful!  I love those roses!  Did you have any trouble putting everything together, or was it relatively smooth sailing?

It was very time consuming, but not hard to do.  The most time was spend prepping the flowers…  Trimming the leafs off and I also cut off the thorns (I didn’t want to prick my hands)

Then once that was done it was pretty easy to put them together into a bundle, tie with wire and floral tape, then wrap with my ribbon and trim the ends to the same length.  Then I just added the pearl pins at the ribbon seam.

Well it looks beautiful and the hard work paid off!  I want to do some trials before I order mine so hopefully I’ll have more of an idea of what I’m doing!

Thanks!

Thanks!! I was really happy with them and was glad to save the $$ by DIY-ing them.
