i havent used them for a bouquet but i have some in decorations in the house and if they are bunched too tight they heads pop off. just something to keep in mind.

go to michael’s or joannes and mess around with the flowers they have there. that might give you a better idea of what to order!

Hey month twin!!

I’m doing exactly what you are. I’m going to be making fuschia DIY Gerbera Daise Bouquets for my bridesmaids. The amount of flowers is going to depend on how big of a bouquet/centerpiece you want…I suggest going to Michaels or some craft store and estimate the sizes by messing around with their faux flowers (this is what I did and worked pretty good!)…it also works well with the greenery part too which I’m not doing, just the flowers. I won’t order flowers online because that is just too iffy for me, you never know what you might be getting/how nice they will be. I’m getting my from the local grocery store if I don’t bother growing them myself. Anyways hope that helps ya! 🙂

Sams Club and Costco have great prices on gerberas, around $60-90 for 70-100 stems and I think Sams does free shipping.  You have to order online ahead of time though I think.  I am looking into it as well.  I would like to get by with 5-7 big gerberas per table centerpiece, but haven’t played around with anything yet.  Let me know what you find out!  Also I love the coral and pink.  I am using orange and am a little jelous!
