So my FH is wanting to DIY some pounder glasses for his Groomsmen. We’ve only been able to find good info on the etching cream method so far, but we’re not real excited about that… Has anyone done or see any other ways of personalizing glassware for bridal party gifts? Is there a particular type of paint that could be used in a handmade design? Any other ideas?
Please help 🙂

@Ms. Drgnfly: There are lots of paints/colors/markers available that are used specifically for glass/ceramic. They are available at a craft store such as Michaels, usually in a separate aisle from the other craft paint.
You could trace a stensil design on the glass and then simply paint it in. I have used a wax based pencil to trace (which prevents paint from sticking) and then the paint. Some of them will require heating to set the paint, others just need to cure for several days. However, the ones that use the heat/oven method tend to last better on the glass/ceramic object.
Vinyl letters & designs are also an option.
