I love your shoes! I’ve seen you on my thread before, so I don’t have new pictures to add, but I sure hope you do this and post photos! I *love* mine, and I’ve worn them out a few times and they’re holding up very well. What color are you thinking of glittering?

@cherryblossomlove: Why thank you! I think that color is great for an icy blue, and it compliments your insole well. Mine was from hobby lobby (just the nicest teal the I could find and that I liked and that was small enough).

It was SUPER easy (I did mine while sitting in a recliner chatting with Mr.ND and his pops while watching TV, lol). Here’s my thread with the tutorial, and here’s a gratuitous pic, because I sure do love them ๐Ÿ™‚

@cherryblossomlove: I really liked my teal color, but I wasn’t working to match them to anything. I think either way you go, you’re good. That icy blue matches yours well, but once your foot is in the shoe, you can’t really see the insole. So I say go with the glitter color you like the best ๐Ÿ™‚ *and I wouldn’t lead you astray, these were honestly REALLY easy to do*

These shoes are great! I’m planning on doing this to a pair of ballet flats for the reception, since I know I won’t last in my heels. I just bought some dark coral glitter (my colour is guava so it’s the closest I could get) and I’m excited to do them ๐Ÿ™‚

@morkiemama:  I was reading a tutorial that said to use rubber cement to glue the glitter on. Is that what you used?
