I am not a crafty person – if it doesn’t involve needles and string I will probably screw it up horribly, but this turned out to be a pretty easy and fun project
So, my DIY Guest Book:
1 Navy blue 8×8 scrapbook with photo window – $9
1 page of sparkly silver lettering – $4
1 packet of cardstock – $4
1 packet of sparkly silver snowflakes – $2
Metallic pens for Guests to sign with – $6
For the front, I slipped one of our engagement pictures into the photo slot. Then I spelled our names around the slot. I then took a hot glue gun, and attached two silver snowflakes to the front of the album.
For the pages, A friend and I brainstormed about 9 questions, 1 per page and printed them onto the cardstock.
Our Questions: If we were a book or movie, what would we be? Finish the phrase: “Love is…” (Things like that)
My friend then cut them down to size (I can’t be trusted with sharp objects, that’s why I called her for help!) and we holpunched them to fit them into the book.
And Ta-da! An interesting and personalized guest book!

I like it….but I would have made the photo black and white….it goes better with the colour of the album…but the finish is nice well done!

Ooh, cute job! I love the snowflakes.

One of my friends ditched the whole guest book idea, they instead used a picture frame with enough room for everyone to sign around their picture. It turned out to be pretty cute. PS you can always find a frame to match your home decor. 🙂

thanks, he’s my baby! just curious, did it come w/page protectors? all the books i found at michaels have cardstock pages w/plastic protectors, whereas i prefer the cardstock pages only.
i’m sure they’ll love it!!
