I think you should go with full foundation. I don’t wear it on a daily bases either, but I went to all the makeup counters and Sephora and Ulta to find the best stuff for my skin. They have light to medium foundations out there, as well as buildable foundation, so you should try a bunch of different ones before you rule it out. A lot of people like MAC, but I ended up going with Elizabeth Arden Intervene. I would definitely recommend MAC’s Pro Longwear Lipstick. It stays on all night and I found it to be much much better than a lip stain. If you want more specifics of all the stuff I got, feel free to PM me.

You should ask for little samples to take home and practice applying when you have a nice event to go to.

Definitely wear some powder! I wore loose and pressed powder over a light foundation over primer/moisturizer.  I added more blush than I would normally wear becuase of the lighting in the pictures and put on as much mascara as I could (I couldn’t wear the fake ones)….i watched you tube videos on how to do my eyes for the big day, got soo many tips!  I think I looked way better than any of the waste of money makeup trials I bothered with!

Wearing a well-matched foundation will make a huge difference in your photos. A light one shouldn’t look cakey or artificial. Also try one without SPF, or you’ll reflect sunlight and camera flashes with a pale reflection.

Make sure that your hair is SPRAYED. I suggest Kenra 40. The half up/half down will be good for the curls and take some weight off. Maybe you can braid the top a bit for structure at the back (very losely, so it doesn’t look like a braid).
