I don’t have any hair tips, but as for makeup, I’d definitely recommend using a primer before applying your foundation. My skin is esp oily, and it not only helps with oil control and shine but also helps my foundation look smoother. Definitely look into eyeshadow primer as well. Urban Decay makes a great product. It not only makes shadow last longer but makes the color seem more vivid, IMO. Lastly, if you really like the airbrush look, use a stipling brush to apply on powder foundation. Hope this helps!

I’m no help with hair, but for makeup I use a setting spray to make things last for special occasions. Urban Decay’s “All Nighter” is my favorite.

I am planning on doing DIY pin curls for my wedding. My hair does not hold a curl for long either so I use a setting lotion. The pin curls also hold the curl much longer than using a curling iron. Setting lotion will keep the curl and make your hair look smooth and silky. A few of them require that you dilute them so if you use one you may want to buy some and test them out soon. Sally Beauty sells a quite a few at a reasonable price.

Get a good primer (depends on your type of skin, but I love love love Hourglass Mineral Primer). I also use an eye primer (I switch between Urban Decay and Too Faced), and Urban Decay has a great spray that you put on afte ryou do your makeup (there’s actually 3 – All nighter is the regular one, then they have one for oily skin and one for dry. I used to use a product called Model In A Bottle for sensitive skin but I like Urban Decay’s better).

With your hair, use a heat protectant that has a light hold as well before you curl it. My favorite is Paul Mitchell hot off the press. you can get it in salons like cost cutters and its not too expensive. (im a hair stylist lol) Then curl it and make a pin curl out of each one while its still warm. after youre entire head is curled and pinned, wait about 5-10 minutes for it all to cool (or while you do your makeup) and then take the pins out and hairspray it. run your fingers through it to break them up if you like. 🙂 i hope this helps you! also, if you curl smaller pieces of hair it will hold better and look fuller!

This is an example of pinning the curls to cool

Me too!!! I swear by the stuff. That thread I posted earlier is all about hourglass cosmetics and them being amazing. It was what Kim Kardashian wore at her wedding and I can confirm it lasts for 12 hours or longer.
