It’s really pretty simple. You need to decide how you’re most comfortable wearing it and where you want it to be placed. Then decide if you want to attach it to a comb (clear) or a barrette base or a ribbon or a headband. All you have to do then is position and hot glue it on. It can also be handstitched onto a hair comb, but it’s more work and not really necessary. Go to a craft store and buy what you need. You’ll be surprised at how simple it is.

Oh…and to cover the barrette base, just buy matching ribbon and wrap it on,gluing the ends. That will cover any exposed metal.

Here’s some directions and samples from Michael’s.

I would look for some tutorials

If you already have the flower it shouldn’t be too hard to attach it to a clip or something like that…

I don’t know what you’re flower looks like but I think a trip to your local hobby lobby or michaels for some feathers or something like that (i know hobby lobby actually has an aisle with some flower clips)

I think maybe something like this should be pretty simple

@Ms. Sparkles: It shouldn’t be too difficult. To start with, decide what kind of clip you want…a hair comb, an alligator clip (my recommendation), bobby pins, headband. Then you can just go to your local craft store, Michael’s or JoAnn’s or AC Moore (they have a 55% off coupon for today) and they should have the findings right there. As long as your flower has a flat back you can just go ahead and glue it to the clip and be all set, or you can use a needle and thread and just alternate wrapping the thread around the clip and threading it through teh flower. If you’re using multiple flowers I’d suggest sewing them to a piece of fabric before attaching to the clip.
