@Beelow: I keep coming back to your post and it’s seriously making me want to do my own makeup now! You did such a ridiculously good job. Was there a specific tutorial you used, or did you just wing it?
Sorry another question… what kind of eyeshadow colors did you use – matte, shimmery?

You look SO beautiful, of course it helps that you are lovely anyway! I want to do my own hair and make-up because I dont trust stylists and it is important and I have 3 years to practice. I have a hard time getting opinions from family and friends though, so I might post trial runs on here to get some honest bee opinions. I have a very round face though, so finding a style is hard :/. You look so stunning, you should go into hair and make up!!

@MrsBtoBe14: Thank you so much! My dress is Allure 8856 in ivory/cafe – I added the sash and had the train shortened 🙂
Blush: Hourglass cheek stain (Sephora has their product line). The color is Aura Flush. It lasts ALL day and is really easy to apply (don’t be frightened by the word “stain” as it’s nothing like lip stain; it can be rubbed off easily if you apply too much).
The lipstick is Estee Lauder Pure Color 57 in Ripe Papaya.
I used the individual false lashes – maybe 6 to 8 on each eye from the center out. The strip lashes are beautiful too but they always come off in the corners on me so the individual ones were definitely the way to go. I highly recommend practising applying individual lashes as it was trickier than I expected when I did my trial run. Fortunately the package (I used Quo) comes with TONS so I tested them out on my stagette and had plenty left for the wedding 🙂
You can do it! Just do as many trials on yourself as you can stand – take lots of pictures from every angle. It also helped me to write down step-by-step what I did.
Awww thank you! That is so flattering! I did makeup lessons at both Sephora and Mac and then started practising and adapting their tips/recommendations. My eyeshadows are all from Mac (for the main smokey brown on top and bottom I used Mac paint pot in Eclair). It definitely has shimmer to it, which I was a little nervous about for photos but I loved it in the end.
