I think your makeup looks great!  I might go for a hairdresser though; maybe they can do something else with your hair so it doesn’t look like your everyday hairstyle.

@futurenrs723: I think you look gorgeous! To glam it up, add some false lashes, a bit more blush and maybe darken the lips (with a plum color?) what do you think? The light purple shadow really makes your brown eyes pop and your skin all in all looks flawless!

What type of face make-up did you use?

ETA: Oh also, with your bob, you could tease up the back and pin half up. That’s what a few of my bridesmaids did and they also had short hair like yours. It looks a bit more formal that way, I think.

You have beautiful skin! And I love your hair! I dont see much blush or eyeshadow so that might be where youre getting an “everday” look. A rosey or peachy blush would look great on your skin tone and a nice smokey eye (dark brown or black). If you want to glam it up a little more, get some false eyelashes, they really make your eyes POP!

I think misschickpea and heather gave you some great ideas to play with to make you feel more made up.

As for your hair, I have a very similar hair cut, and wore it like this as a Bridesmaid or Best Man in a recent wedding. Basically, it was blown out in very thin layers using a large round brush, and then you could flip it out, or flip it under (or, in my case, one side of each).

i think the makeup looks really good (a bit more blush), but it might be good if you had someone do your hair. sometimes its hard to style your own.

@futurenrs723: Can I ask exactly what you used for you make-up (a wee run down). It looks amazing and flawless Smile

@futurenrs723: I LOVE your eyes.  This is a similar look to the one I’m going for and I will be using the products you suggested.  So many of my friends swear by Rimmel 25 hour wear foundation so I think I’ll go out and purchase some.  Your eyes are stunning though.  Looks very professional!

Your make-up looks gorgeous. Eyes are beautiful. I agree with PP’s about a little more blush and some darker lips:)

ALSO — If you have any beauty schools in your area, or anything like that — check with them. They always do stuff SUPER cheap, but they do a GREAT job because their instructors are watching them CONSTANTLY and if you are unhappy with your hair, the instructor will fix it. That way — you can have a stylist help you with your hair, for half the cost!

Good Luck!

@skyeatnight: I agree with you. I’ve heard so much about it. You can get it at Walmart right? I think I’ll be making a trip there soon(:

@Summy00: You’re right.  I think you can get it just about anywhere and for a great price.  I love the coverage it seems to give (I have heard this from a few people).  Worth a shot anyway!
