My first attempt at a head band…
Things needed (I got everything at JoAnn Fabrics for $10):
~head band (plain one, ribbon, stetchy material (which I used about 17 inches)..)
~snap button and thread if you use stretchy material
~ribbon that has some detail and depth (I used 12 inches)
~some bling ( I used 6 inches of rhinestone ribbon)
~flowers (I bought a 6 pk of small white flowers w/ rhinestones)
I took stretchy sequin ribbon and sewed on snap buttons to fit my head (sorry no pic of this).
I also picked out some other cool looking ribbon and cut it into a pattern. Then I hot fabric glued the ribbon together.
Then I added some detail (w/ the hot glue gun) so the edges looked finished and also added flowers for more depth.
Then I hot glued my finished piece to the stretchy sequin ribbon. I stretched it out when I glued so it wouldn’t unglue when it stretched on my head…
I might just use the piece that I made and glue it on to a thinner headband b/c I don’t want the headband seen.
Not too bad for $10 🙂
