I’m attempting another DIY project. I wanted to make this:
Sorry for the HUGE picture!
But here’s my dilemma. I followed the instructions, used mod podge and then sprinkled glitter etc, but once I put the tealight in the candleholder, the light shoes all the glue streaks, has anyone else encountered this?
Is there another type of glue that I could use to avoid the streaks?
Thanks in advance!!

Glue streaks? Weird… I haven’t done that particular one, but you might want to try spray glue instead.

I did tea lights with regular old elmers glue and glitter. it took 2 coats, and then I sprayed them with a.clear coat, but they came out great.

I would try another coat of glitter- projects like this usually take a few coats to get a really nice finish.

i tired a second coat but the candle still shows the streaks, it might be because I wasn’t as careful with my first coat. Thanks ladies, might also try the spray glue.

I have never made these so I cant say what will work and what wont but have you thought of using silver glitter spray paint vs. glue & glitter ?? maybe that will work 🙂
