I ordered my pocketfolds from them as well.  I ended up having to get smaller paper for the actual invite.  Can you adjust your invitation and then trim it down when they come in?

Might depend on the thickness of your paper, if it was thick it might not look good. The measurement of that area on the pocketfold is exactly 5×7, so it would extent all the way to the fold. I just had my Fiance measure ours, which we got from CardsandPockets, we are very happy with them but have a smaller invite.

Could order a sample and see if it works?

Also check out paper presentation.  They have a very large selection of paper.

I ordered bx7 invites and used the old 5×7 vertico pocketfold that cardsandpockets offer. I cut my invites out myself so where the dots were on my invite design, I just cut inside of them rather than on them and they fit perfectly!

I say, if you have time and you are not ordering the clearence ones, order just a sample of the pocket fold that you want so that you can test it out first. And I believe that samples ship free from there too.

I love Cards & Pockets pocketfolds – I would recommend trimming down your invite to fit better if possible.

I had 5×7 invites and 5×7 pocketfolds. I didn’t think of this until I went to put them together. So I cut off about 1/8 of an inch of the sides and it fit perfect then. No one has noticed-I don’t think 🙂

@SaraP2012:  I am having the same issue.  I think I will be doing a nice  belly band to dress it up/hold it together!    What did you end up doing?

I am just making mine all myself.  Don’t trust anyone else to do them for me.  Plus, I know they will be unique as I’m doing them myself! xx

@SaraP2012:  What a coincidence.  My Fiance and I actually made a trip over to Michaels yesterday (they had some huge extra 90% off clearance sale, so we were hoping to score some cheap DIY supplies) and my Fiance actually suggested ribbons instead of the bands.  How did you hold the ribbon together?  We were thinking a small spot of hot glue to make it into a band with a small bow.  If you have a picture of how it came together that would be awesome.

@SaraP2012:  Awesome.  Thanks for the help.  I’d love to see a pic to see how it turned out.
