How many are you planning to do? Can your printer print A7 cardstock?

anhelms:  Hi!! Congrats on getting engaged.

I designed my own A7 Save-The-Date Cards, I bought those precut cardstock paper from Papersource. They aren’t bad in price, they are $3.75 for a pack of 20 or 25. My printer can print on A7, so it worked out awesome. I also have 110lb cardstock here and a paper cutter, so I have in the past done it this way. But if you do, do yourself a favor and put a faint border around them so you can cut along the lines, if I dont have a line, I never can manage to cut them perfectly straight, its always on a slight slant and it drives me crazy. The 110 lb cardstock always feels very thin to me compared to the pre-cut ones you can get at paper source.

So my vote would be the pre-cut even though they different from your detail cards. Paper source again has soooo many colors and paper types, you could probbaly find one that matches your detail cards pretty close.I had linen paper on my invites and my RSVP was regular cardstock, doubt anyone noticed. Good luck!

I’m a paper person, so I’d be inclined to print them myself . . . Knowing that I’m the only person who would know if they didn’t match exactly. But that’s the sort of thing that I care about! I even did a report in middle school testing out different widths of pencils and pens on different types of paper and how it all felt for writing . . .

I made my invitations – I bought the pre-cut paper from papersource and just printed them off. Getting larger paper and cutting them down would have been cheaper, but I liked skipping that part. Papersource offers many different sizes of papers so all of our paper products will match [menus, programs, invites, stds, ect]
