I would check out the ones at vistaprints.com.  I got mine from there for 90% off and Save-The-Date Cards, Response cards, etc… for free.  I signed up for the business emails (Not The Wedding Emails), they send you emails with lots of free offers all the time.  I got just a ton of stuff and it cost me less than one box of print your own invites.

I agree with Vistaprint. There’s not really a cheaper option than Kinkos if you’re purchasing them yourself. Vistaprint seems to be the cheapest option that I’ve seen unless you’re going to design, print and cut them yourself.

You can if you would like but you don’t have to.  We are paying for our whole wedding, but I want to honor my parents as they have been my constant cheerleaders and supporters my whole life.  I will have my parents “hosting” the wedding.

@SweetRose2011: If you and your fiance are paying/hosting then you could say…

Together with their parents

Bride and Groom

request…

or if you’d like to include their names, you could say…

Bride

daughter of Mr. & Mrs.

and

Groom

son of Mr. & Mrs.

request….

I used vistaprint for my save the dates and michaels invitations for the wedding 🙂 The michaels invitations were a little tricky but I got mine done entirely for 170. I put detailed directions on my blog if you want to see:

Also, kinkos doesn’t always print on the tiny cards. I ended up printing them all myself. And my invitations included a pocket, a main card with ribbon, a direction card, a hotel accommodation card, an rsvp card with envelope and a tissue paper insert.
